Boulogne Ferry Port

The LD Lines ferry route to Boulogne from Dover stopped operating in September 2010, so unfortunately it is not currently possible to book a cheap ferry to the port of Boulogne with ferrysavers.com.

However, with ferrysavers.com you can find cheap ferry deals from Dover to the nearby ports of Calais and Dunkerque (Dunkirk), and can compare prices of all the many cross-channel ferries between the UK and France using our real-time comparison engine above, where you can search by route, time and operator to find your perfect bargain ferry crossing.

The historical port in Boulogne houses a brand new, purpose built ferry terminal, situated at the south of the town which is clearly signposted from the town centre.

The town of Boulogne (or Boulogne-Sur-Mer, it's full official name) is in the north of France, roughly 30km south of Calais. There is easy access to the A16 which runs south into Paris making Boulogne an ideal port for people travelling to the French capital and the south. In the town itself visitors can take a stroll through the winding cobbled streets of the historic old town and admire the 13th century architecture of the town's chateau. For visitors with an interest in the sea Nausicaa Aquarium, the National Sea Centre of France, is found on Boulogne's sea front and is open daily throughout the year.
