About Brindisi
Brindisi ferry port is located on the southern end of Italy's beautiful Adriatic coast, in the region of Apulia (Puglia in Italian). Brindisi has always been a busy city of importance through history due to its natural harbour. The advantageous position of its harbour has meant that Brindisi ferry port has developed in a major port that provides transport and freight links to destinations in Greece and throughout the world.
Over the years Brindisi has suffered greatly through several invasions and has been occupied several times. Despite the damage the city was always rebuilt quickly and the historic buildings restored, with many of them open to the public, the most popular of these are the gothic styled church of Santa Maria del Casale, and the Aragonese Castle.

19 Aug 2017Pessimo traghetto

13 Jun 2017Seemed to be mainly a freight ferry for lorries
-
The boat was late to arrive and it was difficult to know where to go with few signs to help us. The boat seemed to be mainly freight with rather chaotic coming off and going on of lorries with foot passengers wandering throughout the lorries with seemingly no safety guidance. Our cabin was comfortable enough but the boat was dirty and I wouldn't rush to travel again on this ferry.
