Brittany Ferries.
In Cork you will find some good quality architecture, capable of rivalling that of Ireland's capital. Many of the city's buildings are in the Georgian style, although the modern County Hall tower is the tallest building in the Republic of Ireland.
Among Cork's main sights are:
- the church tower of Shandon, which is Cork's most famous building. The clock tower is known as The Four-faced Liar, as from the base of the building, each clock face appears to show a different time.
- St Finbarre's Cathedral and the Roman Catholic St Mary's Cathedral (also known as the North Cathedral).
- Fitzgerald's Park, through which the River Lee flows.
- the English Market, which is a covered market for fish, fruit, meat, spices and luxury foods.
