Cruise Whitsundays
Cruise Whitsundays is an innovative and experienced maritime operator. The company operates a large number of day cruises throughout the Whitsunday Islands. Cruise Whitsundays offers resort connection services - a hassle-free island resort transfer service for arriving and departing guests, and island hoppers!
Getting to the Whitsundays
Cruise Whitsundays operates Resort Connections connecting Great Barrier Reef Airport (Hamilton Island) and Whitsunday Coast Airport (Proserpine) to Daydream Island Resort and Spa, Hamilton Island and Airlie Beach. On arrival at Proserpine Airport you simply check-in at the Whitsunday Transit desk in the arrivals area, and the bus departs from right outside the airport terminal, transferring you direct to our Port of Airlie terminal. All departing passengers should make themselves known to the coach drivers at Port Airlie for transfer to Whitsunday Coast Airport (Proserpine). Coach times will be advised when you make your booking.
If you prefer to travel by plane - the Whitsundays are serviced by two domestic airports: Whitsunday Coast Airport on the mainland at Proserpine, and Great Barrier Reef Airport on Hamilton Island.
But if you choose to travel by car - the roads are in excellent condition with some beautiful scenery along the way. The Bruce Highway runs from Brisbane to Cairns. The turn off to Airlie Beach is one km north of Proserpine (150 km north of Mackay, 300 km south of Townsville) and is then a 20km trip into the beach town.
