Denia ferry port is, like many ferry ports with services to the Balearics, very popular, with a large number of ferry crossings every day. Denia ferry port is ideally located in the town centre, only 300 m from the train station, Denia's tourist information desk, restaurants and shops.
Denia, an essential destination in southern Spain, is a small port town situated on the slopes of the hill Montgo and located between Alicante and Valencia on the Spanish coast.
Overlooked by an ancient castle, Denia features a wealth of festivities throughout the year: the most popular festival called "Fallas" is celebrated each March where huge papier-mache statues are set up throughout the town and then set ablaze, another festival worth the visit is the popular "Bulls at the Sea" in July, a week long festival with the renowned highlight of watching bulls run down the main street "Marques de Campo", only to be chased into the Mediterranean sea by those daring enough to enter a makeshift bull ring with them.
