Located in the north east area of the Isle of Wight, Fishbourne is a small fishing village situated between the towns of Wootton and Ryde. The village is located on the eastern bank of Wootton Creek. Located near Fishbourne is the Royal Victoria Yacht Club which attracts a large number of sailing enthusiasts every year, especially during the famous Cowes week in early August.

The village is well connected with the rest of the Isle of Wight thanks to the local bus service with regular bus services stopping in all major towns on the island. The Isle of Wight also offers a range of extreme sports for visitors and locals to experience such as paragliding and windsurfing.

Taking the Ferry on a Stormy Day
    • We travelled the day of Storm Denis which was an experience in itself. Hadn't been on the IOW Ferry for over 30 years. The Victoria was an new ferry and the crossing although choppy was smoother than I thought. Quick loading and unloading process. Short Trip and easy to find the terminal. Staff were determined to keep the service running safely on a miserable day - lots of smiles from them too - kudos to them.

    St Claire
    • one of the older ferries and it shows decor is tired. strip lighting defective in places,WiFi box taped to ceiling with Hazard tape , spot light flickering continually. Gents toilet smells really bad like it has a leak. Catering whilst understanding you have to make a profit the prices are sky high and are not value for money

    Recent crossing to IOW
    • Good facilities at either end and efficient embarking but hopeless as to what information (printed ticket or whatever) one needed to present on arrival.
