Formentera is the smallest of the Balearic Islands and, as a result, is probably the quietest too, though with the increase in services to the Spanish mainland, the port in La Savina (on the north of Formentera) is becoming busier. Situated 6km south of Ibiza in the Mediterranean Sea, this island is a hotspot for beach lovers everywhere.
