Eurotunnel Freight - Driver Information:

Please select your date of travel online. Drivers will be issued with an OPEN TICKET meaning you will travel on the first possible departure following your arrival at the terminal.

In Folkestone, the Freight Drivers Centre offers 24/7 service information. Customers can purchase the Eurovignette or change their currency at the exchange bureau (Travelex).

In Calais, a cafeteria offers hot meals and snacks. A fuel station, a shop and washroom facilities are also available before pre-check-in. Once onboard drivers are taken to an air-conditioned `Club Car' where they can relax comfortably during the crossing. Hot & cold drinks and snacks are available on board.

As all controls are carried out before departure, on arrival you can return to your vehicle and exit directly on to the motorway.

Travelling with a van?

With Eurotunnel, all private use vans carrying goods exceeding 3 cubic metres in volume (similar in volume to the boot area of a large family estate car), must be booked as freight. If commercial goods are being carried you must book as freight regardless of the size. If you are carrying only private goods less than 3 cubic metres, please visit our passenger website's Eurotunnel page.
