Voltri is part of the famous nautical city of Genoa, in Liguria northern Italy. Voltri is at the very northern end of Genoa's 18 miles of development on the coastline. Although away from the famous historical sections by Genoa's old-town, the terminal at Voltri is a very important part of the Port of Genoa, and is actually the port's largest container terminal. Opened in July 1992, Genova Voltri (Voltri Terminal Europa) has excellent links to the nearby motorways taking you to the centre of Genoa, or to other parts of northern Italy.
