Ithaki(Pisaetos)
Pisaetos is a small port in the western side of Ithaca, right opposite the side of Kefalonia. It is very well connected. There are ferry services running to/from Patras and Astakos as well as ferries to/from Sami, Kefalonia and Vasiliki Lefkada in summer. It's one of the world's largest natural harbors. The island of Ithaca is also known as Ithaka or Ithaki and is surrounded by lots of beaches with crystal clear water
Getting to Ithaki(Pisaetos)
It is easy to get to Ithaki(Pisaetos). There is a shuttle bus that connects Pisaetos to Vathi every time a ferry comes or leaves. Plus you can get a bus from Vathi to Kioni, Stavros and Frikes on the northern side of Ithaca. Alternatively, you can always get a private taxi to explore Ithaki.
