The port of La Maddalena is situated on the south coast of the island, just off the north-east coast of Sardinia. It is situated right at the heart of the La Maddalena town so most major facilities and amenities are within easy reach of the La Maddalena ferry port.
La Maddalena is the largest town in the Maddalena archipelago and is home to the Arcipelago di La Maddalena National Park. From the beaches of La Maddalena, you can hire a motor-boat and spend all day on it as you wish, or you may like to take an island tour and see what makes La Maddalena so beautiful. It is also possible to hire out a sailing boat but if you just fancy relaxing then the beaches on this Italian island are perfect for doing just that.
