  • LD also have 2 crossings on weekdays, and 1 crossing weekend days, between Le Havre (France) and Portsmouth (England). From November 2009 the Côte d'Albâtre will provide 1 return crossing a day, and in 2010 the Norman Arrow will operate a six month seasonal schedule from Easter to September, reducing crossing times to 3 hours 15 mins
  • And LD Lines offer 3 return services a week between Rosslare (Republic of Ireland) and Cherbourg (France). These services are provided by Celtic Link (the route appears under Celtic Link in the booking engine above)

LD Lines has become, within only a few years, the most frequent, reliable and superb value-for-money service across the central Channel, with prices as low as £9 for foot passengers. Louis Dreyfus Lines (a subsidiary of Louis Dreyfus Armateurs SAS, one of the world's leading maritime companies since 1904) started running the former P&O route between Portsmouth and Le Havre in September 2005. The brand-new Dover-Boulogne route was established in February 2009.

LD Lines' fleet consists of the Norman Spirit, the Côte d'Albâtre and the catamaran Norman Arrow, the largest ever fast-ferry to cross the Channel. Onboard an LD Lines ferry, you can choose from highly comfortable private cabins (with air-con and fresh bedding), Club Class reclining seats or standard reclining seats. LD Lines ships offer a choice of bars, restaurants and shops as well as a cinema, a business lounge, and wi-fi access.

Please note: LD Lines ceased operating the Dover/Dieppe route on 29th June 2009, and the Rosslare/Le Havre route on 18th September 2009.
