Mykonos is a very popular Greek island in the Cyclades which is full of fantastic sandy beaches, incredible historic sites and... celebrity pelicans! The three pelicans are loved by both the locals and tourists on the island, and can be found near the harbour in the 'Chora', or Mykonos Town. Mykonos has an intense nightlife that many say is one of the best in Europe. It focuses mainly on beach parties and beach bars, however there are many nightclubs that go on well into the next morning, attracting internationally-renowned DJs.

Other than the beaches and the nightlife, Mykonos is known for its classic windmills and `Little Venice', an area of the island with brightly-coloured balconies and a vibrant atmosphere. If you want to ignore the cosmopolitan Mykonos altogether, there is a lot more to be explored; Paraportiani Church is an incredible sight, as is the Island of Delos, a very popular archaeological site with many Ancient Greek artefacts to be seen.
