Check-in Information

All booking confirmations must be exchanged for a valid ticket by calling into the Guernsey or Sark office at least 25 minutes prior to your sailing time. Passengers should arrive at the departure point at least 15 minutes before the scheduled sailing time; vessels cannot be boarded without the passenger holding a valid ticket issued by the Company.

Sark Shipping

The Isle of Sark Shipping Company Ltd is owned by the island of Sark and since 1969 it has been the only operator of the year-round lifeline Passenger and Cargo service between Guernsey and Sark.

It takes approximately 55 minutes to get between Maseline Harbour Sark and St Peter Port harbour in Guernsey.

What you need to know

If you're bringing our own car, you will need to purchase a parking clock. These are available onboard your ferry, and also from various outlets around the island as well as the Guernsey Information Centre - ideally located on the St Peter Port seafront. The parking clocks are a 'one-time' purchase and, under the present parking regulations, will never expire so you can keep it and re-use it on further visits to the Island.

Annual trip

Another comfortable trip
- I really prefer a smaller ferry. This one from Sark fitted the bill. Very comfortable, I sat down, fell asleep and stayed so all the way to Guernsey.

Excellent tripacross to Sark
- Had an excellent trip across to Sark, water very calm. Very happy with the staff and boat that took us their. Just to say there is no catering on the boat which was expected but I had to mark the star rating
