Bilbao Information
Bilbao's ferry port is found just off the A8 at Santurtzi on the edge of Bilbao city. The ferry port is popular as a starting point for those looking to explore Spain or Portugal, as it cuts out the long drive through France onboard some of the most luxurious of ferries.
Bilbao is a distinctive, bubbling city set on the Nervion and surrounded by beautiful countryside, with a fine selection of hotels and restaurants, especially in its famed Old Town. As well as the famous Guggenheim Museum, the city acts as home for the Fine Arts Museum which is recognised as one of Spain's finest art museums and the Maritime Museum which can be found on the banks of the Nervion. Another of Bilbao's claims to fame is that it was featured at the start of the 1999 James Bond film The World Is Not Enough.
Portsmouth Information
One of England's busiest and most important ports, Portsmouth ferry port is located on England's southern coastline and thanks to the local bus networks and the road system it is only a short journey from the city's centre. One of the UK's largest and busiest ports, Portsmouth has a host of facilities for passengers, including a café, bar, bureau de change, ATM and 516 space multi-storey car park.
Portsmouth is the only city in England to have been constructed on an island, and the city is also the historic home of the Royal Navy and has the world's oldest, still functioning dry dock. The city's dry docks attract many visitors, as they currently house three British battleships, the most famous of them, the H.M.S Victory. But Portsmouth's attractions do not stop with the dry docks and Naval Centre, its waterfront houses, the Spinnaker tower, a wide range of shops and boutiques as well as many restaurants and cafes for visitors to relax and unwind in.

The satnav code given to us took us to what I would call the tradesmens entrance and luckily the security guy let us though then it was a case of find the ferry And one annoying fact was being told there was a 3 hour delay when we was an hour away this must have been known earlier!

I was impressed with everything on board but disappointed with the internet access as all the areas where there was an internet hot spot all the seats were taken and they stayed there all the time not giving anyone else a chance.

Check in was very quick no fuss. The check in personnel gave clear instructions and were very polite. The cabin on board was clean and tidy. The food was just ok but nothing to be excited about. I was very disappointed with to free WiFi it took an age to get logged on and once logged on it was so slow that we both got fed up waiting and closed our phones.
