Sark Ferry Port
Special Offers
The island of Sark is the least known and least visited of the Channel Islands. It is a romantic hideaway from the pressures of the modern world. The Island was Europe's last sole surviving feudal state; with its constitution dating back to the Elizabethan period. The Island is three and a half miles in length and a mile and a half wide and actually comprises of two islands, Big Sark and Little Sark, which are joined by the thin isthmus "La Coupee". When approaching Sark by boat, your first sight of the island will be the towering cliffs. Seabirds wheel over the bays, and sometimes in late spring boat passengers are able to see puffins on the sea surface. If you're very lucky, you may even spot a dolphin! Ferries from Sark port can be booked easily through Ferrysavers.
Sark Port Facilities
There are no cars on Sark, the only forms of transport are: bicycle, tractor, by foot or horse drawn carriage. Due to the size of the island, the port is not difficult to find and is well signposted.
About Sark
Like Guernsey and Jersey, the island enjoys a mild climate. By day, the island is perfect for swimming, diving and even fishing. By night, the unpolluted mild sky becomes a haven for stargazers.

I have a weeks holiday on Sark every year. The ferry is always on time and the staff, including reception are polite and helpful.

05 Jul 2018A comfortable trip

Personally I can't get excited about a ferry trip, this one was fine, a smooth trip from Jersey to Sark. The only thing which would have been helpful to know beforehand is that if you're getting off at Sark, do remember to collect your luggage first, because none of the carriers on Sark can come on board to remove luggage, and none of the ferry staff advised us to take our own luggage with us before alighting on the quayside.

Had an excellent trip across to Sark, water very calm. Very happy with the staff and boat that took us their. Just to say there is no catering on the boat which was expected but I had to mark the star rating
