A 50/50 split venture between Clipper and Bornholmsfaergen, Nordic Ferry Services operates a number on a domestic routes in Denmark, including Samsofaergen and Langelandsfaergen, aiming to make travel between the islands of the country simpler.
Alsfaergen's ship is the m/v Thor Sydfyen; built in 1978 she offers a bistro café onboard serving freshly made Smorrebrod (Danish open sandwiches), fruit, cold drinks and more, as well as indoor and outdoor play areas. A highlight of using the Thor Sydfyen is the sun deck overlooking the South Funen Archipelago; as well as spectacular views of this beautiful region you may be lucky and spot both whales and porpoises.
