About Agistri
Agistri is a tiny island of the Saronic Gulf, located only a short ferry ride from Athens. Due to its close distance to the capital of Greece, Agistri island is a very popular weekend destination for Athenians. There is a regular ferry service to Agistri from the port of Piraeus, the main port of Athens. The normal ferry to Agistri takes about 1 hour and half and arrives at the port of Skala. The hydrofoil ferry to Agistri takes about 1 hour from Piraeus and arrives at the port of Megalochori (Myli). There are ferries from Agistri to: Piraeus, Aegina, Methana. There is a bus and a tourist train going from Skala and Megalochori to Dragonera and Aponissos, the two most famous beaches on the island.
