Brodick
This popular holiday destination is the second largest village on the remote Isle of Arran. Its mountainous environment makes it popular with nature lovers and hikers of all ages and abilities, and if you like you can walk up to Merkland Point to watch seals frolicking in the brisk North Sea. Arran is also home to the Arran Brewery, which beer-drinkers are sure to love, and the headquarters of the Arran Aromatics cosmetics company is based on the island.

05 May 2018Sailing to Arran

A generally good service, the staff are mainly polite and helpful. The actual ship needs a little upgrading, the car boarding deck could do with a piece of timber along the railings to stop car doors being damaged on the metal rail. The ferry times are spot on and when a ferry has to be cancelled, the company get in touch as soon as possible to arrange another ferry.

No problems at all on either journey. Embarking and disembarking both at Ardrossan and Brodick was easy and slick. Didn't use the onboard catering facilities so cannot comment but had to put something in as the feedback form would not let me submit the feedback without putting something here. Booking through Ferrysavers was easy and trouble free.
