Check-in Information

Passengers must be ready for boarding and in possession of their corresponding boarding cards a minimum of 20 minutes before the ship's departure. Vehicles should be on the dock, in possession of the boarding card, and ready to embark 40 minutes before the ship's departure time. In the event that the aforementioned time limits are not complied with, the passengers and/or their vehicles shall automatically lose their reservation. Please leave plenty of time to collect your boarding card from the port office.

Fred Oslen Express

Fred Olsen Express covers 5 routes between the Canary Islands, carrying more than 2,700,000 foot passengers, 550,000 cars and more than 200,000 heavy goods vehicles each year. Fred Olsen Express is part of Fred Olsen & Co., the shipping company that also owns Fred Olsen Cruises and Fred Olsen Tankers. Fred Olsen first established themselves in La Gomera in 1904, and created shipping routes to export the tomato and banana crops to Europe. The ferry service was established in 1974, and now has routes to all 7 of the islands in the Canaries.

Fred Olsen Express operates a fast, yet quality service with 4 catamarans and 1 trimaran (the largest in the world), typically offering a choice of bars or cafeterias on board, as well as sundecks, and comfortable lounges, with some ferries having airline-style seating.

Easy Ferry

Easy Trip
- This is the 7th year using this ferry crossing to La Gomera from Los Cristianos and it has always been a stress free trip. Fred Olsen are always late in releasing there ferry timetable in advance and this causes problems in coordinating with booking flights well in advance.

First Time User
- Tenerife to La Gomera. There is no public service bus to the port which makes life difficult if your have luggage. There is a great facility for putting luggage into a mobile storage locker which is unloaded at the end of the journey - great idea - just remember the E1 fee is not refundable so anytime you want to get something from the locker before departure costs 1 Euro. Check in very simple if pre-booked they just scan your passport. Very few sailings a day so you can't afford to miss it. Dreadful background music whilst the boat is in vicinity of the harbour! Quality of the coffee on board, in paper cups, leaves a lot to be desired.
