The Koge ferry port provides the main connections to Ronne on the island of Bornholm. The port is easily accessed via Copenhagen and Rodby via the quick Danish motorway system and also provides a regular bus service and taxi rank to the city centre.
Koge is one of the oldest ports in Denmark located only 39 km of Copenhagen, however, Koge has seen a lot of modernisation in recent years while preserving its old town centre. Dating back from 1288, Koge is home to the oldest half-timbered house in Denmark now a public library. Other notable attractions in Koge include the Sankt Nicolai Church, Koge Town Hall and Koge Torv, one of the largest town square in Denmark.
