Nice Information

Nice ferry port is the ideal base to reach Corsica and L'Ile Rousse. Nice ferry port is located close to the centre of town.

Nice enjoys a mediterranean climate with mild and sunny weather throughout the year and is a leading resort on the French Riviera. If you go to Nice and want to taste some typical dishes, you can ask for pissaladière, a pie with onions and anchovies paste; or some socca, a type of pancake made from chickpea flour. Besides its culinary offerings, Nice is the apothesis of summer holidays: sundrenched beaches, fashionable bars and restaurants, boutiques and outdoor markets, watersports and cultural attractions, and friendly locals.

Bastia Information

Bastia, is a town in the north of the beautiful French island of Corsica. It is the capital of the Haute-Corse departement and is also a long-standing important Corsican port, with many ferry services across the Mediterannean to mainland France and Italy. Bastia is famous for its wines and has about 340 days of sunshine per year; two elements that naturally make this very pleasant Corsican town a real hit with holiday-makers, especially many from mainland France, who appreciate the fine local produce and atmosphere.

    Efficient boarding process
    • Safe journey but long, hot wait to get cars off the boat. Good meal options but no entertainment or outside space.

    only one issue
    • the ferry is spotlessly clean.... very impressive.. i have no complaints except for the member of staff who runs the shop on board... she is sullen, does not smile, and is quite offhand and rude.... the rest of the staff are lovely and professional... the catering could be improved a little....

    Easy crossing
    • Our 3 year old daughter loved the Warner Bros characters seen on the exterior and in the dining area. We also appreciated the soft play area. The only downside was a 40 minute delay on arrival.
