Plymouth Information

Plymouth ferry port is located on the northern bank of the river Ply and has excellent connections to the city's centre and the surrounding area thanks to its excellent road and rail networks. The city has an amazing mix of historic seafaring port and vibrant modern city, and today visitors will find a bustling city centre with a host of specialist shops, contemporary restaurants, world class attractions and a wide range of pavement cafes and bar. Most of the shops and attractions of Plymouth are within a short walk of the city's pedestrianised city centre so it is easy for visitors to explore the city without being too far from the ferry port.

Santander Information

Santander ferry port offers excellent facilities including cafeteria, gift shop, tourist information desk and short-stay car park. Santander ferry port easily accessed from the town centre by following the sings to Puerto, Zona Maritma or Ferry.

Santander is the capital of Cantabria region and features stunning attractions such as the beautiful Magdalena Palace, the Paseo de Pereda promenade and the Romanesque and Gothic Cathedral. Also worth checking out is the splendid seaside suburb El Sardinero, with a long beach, gardens, elegant cafes and a casino. Santander also has a charming Old Quarter known as Puerto Chico which is the hub of much of the city's life.

Great trip on a very pleasant ferry
    • Check in was easy, price was reasonable, fairly comparable to cost of driving to Santander but much more relaxing. Comfortable cabin and good food and pleanty of it. Overall, we enjoyed our ferry trip.

    Decent travel
    • Apart from big delay going out of 6 hours both inbound and outbound journey were good I had reclining seats for my return journey but due to having a 10 month old baby it was very easy to sort onboard accommodation out at a reasonable price. Food is well priced and portion size good and plenty for children to do. Will definitely do it again.

    Journey from plymouth to santander
    • We should of sailed from portsmouth but due to bad weather, we got a text while traveling to ring Brittany ferrys which I did straight away, a very helpful lady answered the phone and said we could travel from plymouth that night instead, it was Abit of a rush but we made it, the weather was very rough during the night but other than that Brittany ferrys did there very best to help. Thank you

    Great way to travel
    • Took a while to embark and load the car, probably about 45 mins in a queue. Once on board everything was great. Reasonable price for refreshments and the quality of food was very good and again a good price. Plenty to see and do, even a pool for the little ones. Cabin was very small be adequate and the shower was surprisingly powerful. Nice touch in the morning if you are an early riser. From 6am on top deck there are wildlife experts pointing out dolphins and the odd whale. Very smooth crossing but I believe it can be a bit rough sometimes.
