Port Ellen is a port village on the Isle of Islay in western Scotland. The port of Port Ellen is right next to the village so all amenities, restaurants and shops in the village are very near Port Ellen port itself. From here, it is possible to take ferries to Kennacraig and other such locations in the Hebrides.
The Isle of Islay is situated in the Scottish Hebrides islands and is known for its stunning scenery and friendly atmosphere, along with the opportunity to see some incredible wildlife such as puffins, whales and eagles; in fact, it is one of the best places to find British wildlife. There are also several places to just relax here on the island; the beaches are perfect for admiring the superb scenery of the island.
