About Sami
Sami(Cephalonia) is a beautiful coastal town located 24 km east of Argostoli. Sami is the second largest port of Cephalonia (Kefalonia) after Argostoli and it serves daily trips to Patra, Ithaca and Italy. Getting to Sami
Cephalonia (Kefalonia) is the biggest of the Ionian islands. Argostoli is the capital of the island. There are 2 main ports that connect the island with other Greek cities. One of them is a port in Sami, where from the boats leave to Ithaca, Patra and Italy. You can reach the port of Sami in 3,5 hours from the port of Patra. There are ferries from Astakos of Etoloakarnania to the port of Sami in Kefalonia. This trip lasts about 2,5 hours.
