    Important Information

    Kangaroo Island has a very special environment which must be protected against pests and diseases. Therefore, you cannot bring certain products to Kangaroo Island, like for example honey products, bee handling equipment, potatoes, rabbits, foxes, etc. Harsh penalties apply.

    On board Sealink Ferries

    Sealink Ferries owns two vessels: the "Sealion 2000" and the "Spirit of Kangaroo Island". On board you will find comfortable seats in air-conditioned rooms with panoramic windows, TVs and a licensed café. The ships take cars and foot passengers.

    The ferries are wheel chair and disabled friendly. There is an electric wheel chair that can be used to board passengers.

    Passengers must notify the Kangaroo Island Council if they are bringing a dog or cat to the island.

    Both ferries are equipped with baby change facilities.
