About Stewart Island Experience
Stewart Island is the third largest island in New Zealand, It lies 30km south of the mainland's southernmost tip. It is known as the land of the glowing skies by Maori. It attracts a lot of hikers, birdwatchers and nature lovers.
There are a few crossings provided each day, lasting around an hour, departing from Bluff on the South Island and arriving in Oban on Stewart Island's east coast.
