The port of Tarbert is a very small port at the mouth of the Loch Fyne in Argyllshire in Scotland and has limited facilities.
In the village of Tarbert itself there are several pubs that also serve food, a few restaurants serving the best in Scottish seafood, quiet parks, interesting castle ruins and opportunities to fish, sail, walk, play golf or horse ride. Nearby, there is also chance to watch the famous Highland Games and in the town itself, there is opportunity to watch several music festivals including the Tarbert Music Festival that is held every September.

A good experience on this ferry. Glad we had made a booking in advance. On time, easy check in. Particularly enjoyed conversation with guy from Orca charity about whales and other sea life.
