Found on the western side of the Danish island of Lolland, Tårs ferry port is only a small facility, a few miles north-west of the largest town on the island, Nakskov, however from there is is easy to access much of this picturesque island that is a rurual idyll featuring charming villages and open beaches. Nakskov itslef is a scenic and typically Danish relaxed countryside town, standing out as a tourist destination and centre for cuture.
