Umag

Situated in the heart of the small town of Umag in Croatia, the port is easily accessible by road from the centre of the town and from here it is easy to get to anywhere on the Adriatic coastline or even Italy. Umag is well-known for the ATP Tennis tournament that it hosts every year, with Grand Slam champions Gustavo Kuerten, Carlos Moya and Novak Djokovic all playing in the big stadium court over the past 10 years. Umag is a great place for those who love to play sport; other than the tennis tournament, Umag's beaches are great places for waterskiing, paragliding, mountain biking and diving and as a result, the residents of Umag are often very fit and healthy.

There is also a fantastic marina that is home to both superb yachts and traditional little fishing boats. Near here are the child-friendly attractions of the Umag Aquarium and the Umag Squirrel Park, a park that is full of protected squirrels and a real natural insight for young children.
