Porto Torres ferry port is the most important port on the island of Sardinia. Porto Torres ferry port is situated on the north coast about 25 km east of the Gorditanian promontory (Capo del Falcone) and on the spacious bay of the Golfo dell'Asinara.
Porto Torres was formally a holiday destination for the ancient Romans, and has remained popular ever since. Porto Torres offers an extraordinary selection of attractions and outdoor activities: from the wilderness of the nearby Asinara island to the stunning architecture of the neolithic necropolis of Su Crocifissu Mannu and Li Lioni or the 11th century Basilica of San Gavino, Porto Torres is an essential destination on the island of Sardinia.

02 Jul 2018Very noisy boat
-
Had no sleep until 4am, as young people shouting and running up and down the corridor outside the room. Had a very poor quality breakfast and very u friendly staff. Room smelt of sick on outbound journey and the air conditioning was not working. On the return journey the resturants closed very early could not see opening times displayed. Very crowded at 1 to 2.30 pm so came back at 2.50 to find no food available. Boat was 1.5 hours late arriving in Barcelona, so very hungry by the time we found a restaurant. Very good price for the return journey with car but I was disappointed with the level of service and the cabin.
