The charming port of Roscoff is found on the northern coast of Brittany, and is ideally located for exploring this beautiful region. It is also the ideal port for exploring France's Atlantic coast, Western Loire and the Dordogne. The Roscoff ferry port is located just outside of town and is accessed via the D58 coming from Plouesat and Morlaix. The terminal is signposted from this road.

Situated near the Western tip of Brittany, Roscoff provides an ideal destination for travellers heading for Brittany who prefer sailing in luxury to a long drive. Brittany Ferries operate a regular ferry crossing service to Roscoff with sailings from Plymouth every day. Roscoff still retains plenty of small town charm, with typical Breton houses clustered around the old fishing port, and several bars and restaurants.

    Excellent finish to our holiday
    • We took time off for a trip to UK to visit family and friends. Starting at Dover, we went to Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Lichfield, then finished in Looe in Cornwall. Practicality wise, the Plymouth to Roscoff ferry was great. We took thé night ferry, a first for US.The cabin was very confortable, spotlessly clean, and we rested well, ready for our 10 hour drive home to SW France.

    Best for overnight
    • Used this crossing as we had a trailer with valuable goods and needed a secure place to overnight as our journey either side was long.first time I have used a cabin and we were very impressed with the comfort and space

    On board assistance
    • My husband is disabled and the help given by staff boarding and disembarking was excellent, they were so attentive both with where we parked the car and getting on to the ship. They even came to our cabin to assist us in getting back to the car deck. The only negative comment I have is that there was a problem with the ramp when we disembarked. All the cars on one side had to reverse on to the ramp, a net was put across and chocks were put under the front tyres, then suddenly there was a load noise and a barrier moved and we were at the front and could see the lower car deck, then the cars were all lowered to the bottom. It was quite alarming as no information or explanation was given about what was happening. As the loudspeakers can be heard down at the car deck it would have been nice if passengers has known the cause of the problem and had been told what was happening.

    Good review
    • This is the third journey I have taken with Brittany Ferries, and will continue to use them. Booking is very easy, just a few minutes. And communication is excellent.
