Schinoussa ferry port is situated along the western coast of the island and is very small. There is not much to see or do around the port area, so it is best to go more inland to find small shops, markets and other small amenities. There are no buses or taxi services on the island and hardly any cars so the best way to get around the island, or to and from the port of Schinoussa, is by foot.
