Adria Ferries
Adria Ferries was established in 2004 with the mission of resuming the popular Ancona to Durres route which had previously been run by Adriatica di Navigazione. This they succeeded in achieving, and they expanded their service in 2008 by launching a Bari to Durres route, and now Adria Ferries provide a quick ferry service between Italy and Albania.
Adria Ferries has 2 ships; the Riviera del Conero and Riviera Adriatica; on both there's plenty of excellent facilities, such as a self-service restaurant serving excellent food, as you might expect of an Italian vessel, such as Italian specialities, snacks (from pizza to sandwiches), desserts and a choice of wines, drinks and ice creams. There's also films to watch onboard, and video games arcades.
Pets on board Adria ferries
You can book your cat or dog on board an Adria ferry with Ferrysavers.co.uk. Adria provides on board accomodation for pets on their ships where pets must reside. This does not apply to guide dogs.
Note that to take your pet to and from the UK to mainland Europe (excluding Ireland) you will need a pet passport.
