Celtic Link offer ferry crossings between Rosslare, in southern Ireland, and Cherbourg in northern France, with 3 crossings a week available in each direction. Celtic Link's ship, Celtic Horizon is the newest conventional ferry on the channel; it has capacity for up to 1000 passengers, 200 cars and up to 120 freight vehicles. On board facilities include 110 cabins, bar, restaurant, lounges, cinema and a shop.

    There's no better way than booking a Celtic Link ferry if you are planning to travel between the north of France and the south of Ireland or England.

    Celtic Link is a relatively new company, established in 2005, which operates a car ferry and freight service between Cherbourg in the north of France and both Rosslare and, since Autumn 2009, Portsmouth. These are both very popular holiday routes in both directions.

    You can book your cat or dog on board a Celtic Link ferry with Ferrysavers. Note that to take your pet to and from the UK to mainland Europe (excluding Ireland) you will need a pet passport. This includes taking your pet from France to Ireland.
