Condor Ferries

Condor Ferries was founded in 1964 and since then has become an important operator, offering ferry crossings of high comfort between the UK, Brittany in France and the Channel Islands.

Condor Ferries fleet includes the Condor Vitesse and the Condor Express, 2 of the most modern catamaran fast-ferries in the world, their sister-ship, the Condor Rapide, which sails between the Channel Islands and St Malo, and the purpose-built ferry Commodore Clipper, which operates out of Portsmouth. All of the Condor ships have various seating options, as well as cabins on the Clipper. The Condor ferries offer a range of bars and dining areas, which include a choice of self-service cafés outlets and snack bars onboard the catamarans and a sit down restaurant in the conventional ferry.

Easy access
- I am a disabled traveller and need to have my car and wheelchair to get about. When boarding I told them about my access needs and they directed me to a place where I could open my doors easily, get my wheelchair from the boot and get to the lift to the main passenger area. All very easy and efficient.

Good crossing
- Generally all ok but food limited and items ran out during crossing. Upgraded seats to front lounge but one seat was jammed in the recline position.
