The most northerly town in the UK, Lerwick is Shetland's main port, ferry terminal and industrial centre as well as the island's capital town. Despite its seeming seclusion from mainland Scotland, Lerwick is actually a bustling town thanks to the large number of workers passing through on their way to or from the North Sea oil rigs. Lerwick is also a popular tourist destination, and the harbour is often vibrant with ferry services, cruise ships, and plenty of yachts during the summer. The town centre of Lerwick is renound as one of the best in Scotland, offering a welcome variety of local shops housed in Victorian architecture along it's cobbled streets, and Lerwick's sea front also contains a wide selection of pubs and restaurants to enjoy.

An easy trip, helpful staff. We had a nice cabin, clean and tidy. One down side the lack of gluten free food.

Could do with OAP discounts for breakfast. Also an improvement to sleeping PODs with foot rests and the ability to sleep on ones side. the current design does not allow this as it is curved.
