Mahon (officially called Maó, the Catalan name for the town) is the capital city of the Balearic Island of Minorca. Mahon boasts one of the deepest natural ports in the world and offers fantastic sights for lovers of nature. The island has almost as many beaches as Majorca and Ibiza combined, making it an ideal place for a holiday. One of Mahon's most beautiful buildings is the Gobierno Militar (Military Governor's House), which was built in the 18th century and is still used by the Spanish Army. The ancient town of Ciutadella (which has it's own ferry port) is also definitely worth a visit, as it is a very scenic place full of winding streets by the Mediterranean.

A truly global location, Barcelona is the 2nd largest city in Spain and capital of Catalonia. It is located in the "comarca" of Barcelonès, along the Mediterranean coast. Thanks to its wonderful climate and these many cultural offerings, Barcelona is perennially one of the most popular destinations in Europe.
Barcelona is also rightly renowned for its unique contemporary architecture and the iconic works of the architect Antoni Gaudí. Other examples of his work are the Palau Güell, the Park Güell, the Casa Milà (La Pedrera) and the Casa Batlló.
