About Grand Navi Veloci

Grandi Navi Veloci was founded by Aldo Grimaldi and his brothers Guido, Luigi and Mario in 1991, with the desire to create a new service based on being the first operator in the Mediterranean ferry market to introduce cruise-level standards into its on-board services and facilities. Today Grandi Navi Veloci brings these high standards onto its crossings over the Mediterannean between Italy, Sardinia, Sicily, Spain, Tunisia and Morocco.

Across Grandi Navi Veloci's fleet you will always find an exceptional standard of quality, with cabins and suites that reveal painstaking attention to detail, excellent restaurants, cafés, piano and observation bars, swimming pools, nightclubs, kid's facilities and shops, all designed to make your crossings an enjoyable part of your holiday.

Pets on board Grandi Navi Veloci ferries

You can book your cat or dog on board Grandi Navi Veloci ferries with Ferrysavers. Gandi Navi provide on board accomodation for pets on their ships where pets must reside. This does not apply to guide dogs. Dogs will also receive a special welcome kit when they arrive on board. Note that that to take your pet to and from the UK to mainland Europe (excluding Ireland) you will need a pet passport.

    Awful dinner experience
    • Great journey and ship facilities. Disappointed with dinner service and food quality.

    Great ferry
    • We booked through Ferrysavers who sent a confirmation email and nothing else. When we got to the port we were told we should have tickets. The port staff were very good and a bus took us to the ticket office and waited for us to get our tickets. Other than that the crossing was very good, we had a cabin suite which was very comfortable and clean

A cost effective way to travel from Sicily to north Italy without the long drive.
    • The ship was spacious and comfortable but the catering was very poor. The catering staff were rude and tried to chase us out of the dining room before the end of service so they could close early. The boarding process was an absolute disgrace. There were no instructions provided in advance on how to obtain the tickets, how to join the boarding queues, or even where we should wait to board. There appeared to be a total lack of organisation.
