Newcastle's ferry port is located on the northern bank of the river Tyne in north east England. In the 19th century Newcastle was at the forefront of industrial innovations, and once again Newcastle has brought its self to the forefront, but this time of leisure and cultural innovations, and visitors to the city can now wander down the refurbished and transformed waterfront Quayside, which is lined with stylish hotels, designer bars, amazing public art and contemporary restaurants.

Thanks to Newcastle's excellent road and rail connections, with many of them leading to and from its ferry port, visitors will find it easy to travel into other parts of the of the north of England, and on tho the whole of the UK.

    Nice restful journey.
    • As expected, a pleasant and restful journey. Disembarkation was a pain due to Immigration, but apart from that, a relaxing and rewarding experience. On board meal in the north sea bistro was top class. Cabin was comfortable and we had a good night's sleep.

A big shame for all this money
    • It was the most expensive travel ever wioth the ferry and it was the worst travel ever. The sink stayd full woith water... the dirty things from other people came back in the water and the parking was on the motorbike side deck 4. The passenger couldnt go out or in. Wasting money. Last trip!!
