  First time on this route

  • This was the first time I journeyed this route.check in was very quick and the 1 hour journey passed quickly. I did not visit the cafeteria so cannot comment on that not did I need to interact with any on board crew. I spent most of my outward journey on deck taking in the scenery. Disembarkation was equally efficient and quick. The booking process was easy and would not hesitate in using this route again.

  We are sailing

  • We totally enjoyed our crossing from Gills Bay to St Margarets Hope.the views were fantastic as my partner is a photographer,he was in his element..I too enjoy scenery and took alot of pictures ..It was windy up top deck but that's only to be expected,it's part of the fun..We hope to do this crossing again in the future..

  October Orkneys Trip

  • The ferry journey is always the best way to start and end a break in the Orkneys!

  Trip to orkney

  • Rough seas. Staff were lovely. Check in for onward journey had a hiccup in that we were only booked on leg 1 not leg 2 but staff quickly rectified it maybe something to check if like us you are returning to a different port
