Portsmouth Information

One of England's busiest and most important ports, Portsmouth ferry port is located on England's southern coastline and thanks to the local bus networks and the road system it is only a short journey from the city's centre. One of the UK's largest and busiest ports, Portsmouth has a host of facilities for passengers, including a café, bar, bureau de change, ATM and 516 space multi-storey car park.

Portsmouth is the only city in England to have been constructed on an island, and the city is also the historic home of the Royal Navy and has the world's oldest, still functioning dry dock. The city's dry docks attract many visitors, as they currently house three British battleships, the most famous of them, the H.M.S Victory. But Portsmouth's attractions do not stop with the dry docks and Naval Centre, its waterfront houses, the Spinnaker tower, a wide range of shops and boutiques as well as many restaurants and cafes for visitors to relax and unwind in.

St Malo Information

St Malo ferry port is used by many as the perfect gateway to explore further the delights of western France. St Malo ferry port can be reached from the South on the N137 or from the D76 and onto the D2. From the West use the N176/E401. The ferry terminal is signposted clearly.

There is a lot to admire about Saint Malo. Explore the tiny cobbled streets, enjoy the fascinating shops full of local crafts or perhaps browse the open markets. St. Malo is full of examples of beautiful buildings and attractions that depict a rich historical tapestry, including the magnificent cathedral, the City History and Wax Museums and the Old Market Hall.

    Relax and enjoy
    • This was my return trip for which I booked a deluxe cabin which enabled me to have a window, comfortable bed and more room generally. Of course it cost more than the single cabin without a window which I had on my first journey but quite frankly it was worth every penny. The crew are all amazing always smiling happy and helpful and nothing appears to be any trouble at all for them. I enjoyed the meal in the evening in the A la Carte restaurant. I also had breakfast served to me in the cabin in the morning. All this was my treat to me. I look forward to the next time. Thank you everyone. Judy St John.

    Great ferry crossing
    • Great crossing for travelling through France to Spain, but you have drive overnight to catch the ferry back to Portsmouth.

    Lovely crossing
    • Great crossing ferry was excellent my only negative comment is the increase of prices for school holidays, I'm a regular customer so would like to pay the same fair amount each crossing
