About Santa Cruz de la Palma
Santa Cruz de la Palma is the largest city and the capital of the island. It is very much a classic modern holiday resort with high-rise hotels, restaurants, shops and plenty of soft sandy beaches to relax on and take in the unbeatable Canarian sun.
Santa Cruz de La Palma lies right in the midst of the Atlantic Ocean. The main reason why the island enjoys such exceptionally clear sky quality is its location near the Equator but far away from the influence of tropical storms. The scenery is one of its chief natural resources, and demonstrates the island's environmental health. The astonishing landscapes and indigenous flora and fauna species inspire visitors to explore every corner of this spectacular island. And its well cared for environment makes a perfect backdrop to enjoy outdoor activities, in contact with nature. It is a World Biosphere Reserve, covering a surface area of 706 square kilometers offering plenty of leisure activities. Hiking, mountain bike, diving, paragliding, boat trips, stargaze and much more.On this island, everything is possible.

2 days at sea. Lanzarote-Gran Canaria -Tenerife-La Palma. Nice, friendly crew onboard. New ship on the route, I liked the old one better! A bit more luxurious! Classic-cargo-cruise with very stylish, modern interior!
