Connecting two of the Baltic's cultural gems, the islands of Als and Funen (Fyn), Alsfaergen is owned by Clipper and part of the Nordic Ferry Services family. A 50/50 split venture between Clipper and Bornholmsfaergen, Nordic Ferry Services operates a number on a domestic routes in Denmark, including Samsofaergen and Langelandsfaergen, aiming to make travel between the islands of the country simpler.
Alsfaergen's ship is the m/v Thor Sydfyen; built in 1978 she offers a bistro café onboard serving freshly made Smorrebrod (Danish open sandwiches), fruit, cold drinks and more, as well as indoor and outdoor play areas. A highlight of using the Thor Sydfyen is the sun deck overlooking the South Funen Archipelago; as well as spectacular views of this beautiful region you may be lucky and spot both whales and porpoises.

You can book your cat or dog on board an AlsFærgen ferry with Ferrysavers.co.uk. AlsFærgen provides on board accomodation for pets on their ships where pets must reside. This does not apply to guide dogs.
