Bastia, is a town in the north of the beautiful French island of Corsica. It is the capital of the Haute-Corse departement and is also a long-standing important Corsican port, with many ferry services across the Mediterannean to mainland France and Italy. Bastia is famous for its wines and has about 340 days of sunshine per year; two elements that naturally make this very pleasant Corsican town a real hit with holiday-makers, especially many from mainland France, who appreciate the fine local produce and atmosphere.

Safe journey but long, hot wait to get cars off the boat. Good meal options but no entertainment or outside space.

the ferry is spotlessly clean.... very impressive.. i have no complaints except for the member of staff who runs the shop on board... she is sullen, does not smile, and is quite offhand and rude.... the rest of the staff are lovely and professional... the catering could be improved a little....
