The town of Birkenhead is located in Merseyside on the western bank of the river Mersey. Situated opposite the city of Liverpool, Birkenhead has a wealth of attractions to entertain visitors to the town, such as the picturesque Birkenhead Park, which was the first publicly funded park in Britain and inspired the design of New York's famous Central Park. Another of Birkenhead's attractions is the local museum located inside Birkenhead's old town hall; the museum features the history of the borough of Wirral and Birkenhead itself.

Sleeping was difficult with noise of engines Ear plugs did not work for me. Stena Plus chairs not condusive to sleep. No ear plugs supplied in Sten Lounge but then I did not ask for them. In cabins ear plugs no good.

I almost always use the ferry to travel as i hate planes. I was upset from leaving my family as this will be my last visit before Christmas and decided to book a cabin and have more privacy. The lady at the desk was so helpful and offered discount which helped as i was skint at the time but just wanted some home comfort. The sail was perfect, the cabin was so tidy and comfy. I really enjoyed my last trip. Thank you so much for the brilliant sail! I do travel very often and find that too many people are quick to complain so please let your staff know that they are really valued and all of the work they do does not go unnoticed by fellow passengers!
