Transeuropa Ferries run car ferries between the ports of Ramsgate (Kent, England) and Ostend (Flanders, Belgium). Established in November 1998 as a freight service, Transeuropa began offering passenger services in 2004, and provides a cheap alternative way to cross the Channel, unaffected by the queues at many of the more famous ports, and closer to the Netherlands and Germany.
On Transeuropa's fleet you'll find a friendly ambience, with a high crew to passenger ratio providing qulaity service. In the a la carte restaurants you can sample English, French, Belgian or Italian cuisine, or enjoy lighter meals in the family cafeterias. To relax on your sailing there's the chance to watch movies, enjoy a glass of wine or cognac in the bar, or simply book a cabin to enjoy the peace and quiet.
